SoundBreak庐 XP庐 Demo
SoundBreak XP reduces the noise you hear between rooms, whether it’s music, TV, conversation, a baby crying or dogs barking. Part of the PURPLE庐 family of products, SoundBreak XP is an acoustically enhanced 陆” drywall used in the construction of high STC (sound transmission class) wall partitions, which are designed to reduce the transmission of sound between living spaces. This demonstration will allow you to compare the superior sound-dampening effectiveness of SoundBreak XP acoustically enhanced drywall to standard gypsum board construction, using a variety of audio samples.
For this demo, the standard room walls are constructed with two 陆” gypsum board panels separated by two-by-four wood studs. The SoundBreak XP walls are constructed with two 陆” panels of SoundBreak XP drywall, separated by two-by-four wood studs and 3 陆” fiberglass insulation. You can choose four different audio samples to compare the sound in three different rooms. Voice and music penetrate walls with different efficiencies, so it’s a good idea to listen to more than one sample.
